i edit directly through samsung pst.

Under the setting tab, open mmc file. Its located in the IS-95/1x DATA category.  Lines 29 and 30 remove, dun. Make sure you have original mmc incase you need restore it back. I have my entire phone backed up just in case.

Thats all I remember changing.

Thanks for all of the info in this thread, I was able to do mine with just Verizon Wireless Access Manager (VZAM) and Qualcomm Product Support Tools (QPST).  VZAM installed the dll for the phone, and qpst let me into all of the files on my phone, just had to look around a bit til i found the one with the "dun" lol.

Hello all,
Would anyone be so kind as to post a "dummies" guide on how to turn your Rogue phone into a modem for wireless internet access? I've read through several posts but am still unclear on which drivers, software, etc. to download on my computer vs. on my Rogue phone?

For example, I've visited the VZAM.Net website to download what seems to be called "USB drivers" but I cannot find these drivers on this website (under what section do I look, and which specific driver do I need?), and once I find these drivers, do I download them to my Rogue phone or to my computer?

Also, my main concern is that I'll rack up a ton of charges on my Verizon Wireless bill as a result of tethering...I only have a $9.99/25Mb data plan...do I need to upgrade to an unlimited "connect" plan for what I believe costs $29.99/month?  Also, I've seen some chatter about using tether through a bluetooth device...can someone elaborate on this and how it might be helpful or recommended to avoid excessive data charges or other interferences?

Please, please , please advise!
Thank you very kindly Cheesy
