I have tried using Samsung's PC application to sync up, and it is not recognized except to sync music. nice, but not what I am looking for. Are there any applications out there that would allow me to sync my outlook from my pc to my Rogue, or even from google calendar to my phone? (I am flexible)

Thanks!

If you're wanting to sync your work email (like Outlook) to your phone, I think Rogue manual says you have to get permission from your employer to do that first before it will work.

Did anyone get this to work?  I can get my outlook e-mail through web outlook but would love to sync my outlook calendar with phone calendar.  If anyone got this to work, please reply to this post.  Thanks!

I just started messing around with this, however you can export events created on the phone to the PC via bluetooth seamlessly thanks to the native integration in the phone. It is exported as a vCalendar file and I will see how going from PC to phone works and keep posting updates. I am used to .ics so it might take me some time to get a nice solution, hopefully this is where the collaboration will help.

However considering this is native support, what are others experiences with the sending (hopefully being able to receive) calendar appointments via bluetooth?

While this does require you to have a PC that has bluetooth an usb bluetooth adapter is relatively inexpensive, tiny (micro adapters), and appears to likely be the easiest option.

Second thought:

I have yet to purchase a microSD card, what about simply putting vCalendar files on the microSD card and then putting that into the phone?

bluetooth method additional information:

under "bluetooth", "settings", "Supported Profiles" and "object push" it states "allows sending and receiving of contact name cards and calendar events between devices". While the PC might not be an "approved device", this to me suggests no hacking or overly creative solutions should be needed to get some form of calendar syncing.

I have not successfully acheived calendar syncing at this point, but I am using borrowed resources right now and do not want to do a lot of configuration for resources that are not mine.

If anyone else finds a method that is successful let us know, as I will not look at this again until sometime next month when I have access to my own resources.

I thought I would give an update, sorry about it, but this is the last time I reply to myself.

I eventually did get to send a calendar event from outlook to my phone via bluetooth, however I did not achieve syncing and sending an event was more work than it was worth. Anyways if anyone wants details or knows of other programs that could sync it, let us know, but alas I failed.

My calendar is rather repetitive, so I just entered it manually on my phone, and Gcal has SMS notifications for events (Outlook users can Sync gcal and outlook painlessly) if you want a reminder.

There is a third party app that might work called datapilot.  They don't support the Rogue yet, but will soon.  It syncs both contacts and calendar to outloook.  See the website.
