Hello fellow Rogue users.  I'm having a bit of a problem and was hoping someone could help.

I've been reading about problems with the MicroSD cards and I've been experiencing similar problems so I followed the instructions provided here on the forums.  I would actually use a card reader to format my card on the PC using FAT32 and then moved to phone and reformatted.  Afterwards, I used the card reader to transfer music onto my card from my computer into the My_Music folder and then put the card back into my phone.  Now, I'm fairly certain the card is working because when I go to Settings>Memory>Card Memory>Memory Usage, it shows that I have the 1.3GB of music that put on my card.  But when I look in the music folder, it says I have no music.  I also went to the options menu and pressed the "Scan Memory Card for New Music" function, but even after I press it, nothing seems to happen.  I'm starting to wonder if it is because I have a 16GB MicroSDHC card instead of a MicroSD card.  I've been getting conflicting information about whether the Rogue supports SDHC.  People say if it doesn't have the label on the box or phone, it shouldn't work, but others say the Rogue is so new that there's no reason it wouldn't work.  I even called Verizon and the people there weren't sure.  All they did was look up the info in the manual, which I already tried.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

Well, nevermind.  Fixed the problem.  It was because I was dragging and dropping FOLDERS by artist into the my_music folder rather than just putting in files alone.  Man, I feel stupid...  Grin

Any SD card over 4GB is SDHC.  It is part of the specification for Secure Digital.

It is advertised as being able to use a 16gb card....  The Owners Manual that I downloaded from Samsung says likewise..........

Have an 8gb & a 4gb....  Use the 8gb as my main card....  Have the 4gb filled with Sporting Events Smiley
Will eventually get a 16gb when the price drops...... Just cant justify the current cost..

Samsungs web site cites up to 16MB supported, but recommends 8MB for stability. Why I don't know.

I'm using a 16 now and have had no problems so far.

Are you getting the album art when you drop and drag?

I use Win Media Player 10 to sync my music, it transfers the songs, titles, artist info and album art with the song.

I just rip from CD or other sources, add to my library in MP 10, connect the phone via USB and drag the songs to the sync box. Start sync and wallah!
