Unable to Charge ..Unsupported Battery?

Okay, so since yesterday around 5pm, my phone would turn off by itself when it was charged to where it shouldn't be doing that. It would keep turning off and say "Unable to charge unsupported battery see user manual". I lost the manual (of course) lol and I don't know whats up with it. Any suggestions??

try taking the battery out and holding the power button down for 30 seconds, then putting the battery back in sometimes the electronic circuits inside just need to be completely drained and then they will work correctly again, iv seen it many times on other electronics, and once recently on one of these phones.
