Anyone found solution to take Screenshots from your huge 480 x 800 Pixel Display?

As I know, LG VX11000 (Touch) is at the moment the second BREW handset.
And here is an known Tool/solution confirmed.

Thanx in advance.

Best Regards
P.S.:
Attached example from VX11K...

Got the screencap working. Even after the error, the file stays in the root of the EFS on the phone. Bitpim let me copy it. I'll try and get a screencap of something more interesting soon, I promise.

Now Beta test in QMAT and soon available.
 Cool

Thank you very much viperbjk.

Hopefully also Samsung CDMA handsets can use this.
Like R810 or U960...

Need to be tested. Otherwise changed folder or custom folder where Screenshot is stored on device needed.
We will see.

Best Regards

Adfree, can I offer to beta test QMAT 5.07? I could lend some insight into this particular part of the app and confirm u960 compatibility.

Thank you very much for request.  Cool

At the moment I can tell. That an VX9700 user tested this Version.
And it works. As I could only test 240 x 320. So now 240 x 400 Pixel is confirmed.

Hopefully 480 x 800 Pixel, as they not fit in QMAT preview Window...  Huh

I will contact you via PM for further Details.

Thank you.

You can test it if you want. With every QMAT Version via Command:
4B1001000000000000FFFFFFFF00436170747572312E626D7000

If you put this in an HEX Editor, you can see. That at the End is the Filename. Here:
Captur1.bmp

Download QMAT 5.06 Trial Version. See the Video.

Meanwhile I have Feedback that VX11000 is tested with 5.07 successfully.
So no problem for Resolution 480 x 800 like U960.

Best Regards

1. You need to download QPST. Make sure your phone is connected via USB and in modem mode!!

2. QPST has a program called Display Capture that downloads with it.

3. Make sure QPST can detect your phone, first by running QPST configuration. If you need the drivers, you can get 'em here: http://www.vzam.net/vcastmusic/Step3.aspx?modelID=35&driverFile=SamsungUSBDriver_4_40_7_0_v1_6.zip (make sure you reboot after install and make sure your phone isn't plugged in while installing)

4. Open Display Capture on your PC and then click on "capture"

5. Then "save as" and make sure you add .jpg to the end of the file if Display Capture doesn't do it for you. (I also had an issue where I didn't have a temp folder in my C:\ so you may have to create one)

I had to add my own temp file to C:/

I had an issue where I was getting an error but once I added that folder, everything was fine and the picture was saving where I wanted it to.

http://psas.revskills.de/

Now you could try PSAS, aka QMAT to take Screenshots instead QPST.
Public Trial Version available.
