I can't find anything for-sure. The only thing I have noticed is the fast foward works a little bit when playing vids from like you tube and such. I am wondering if the update was to allow the new apps to be able to work on the Rogue. My battery life is no better than before. ( someone posted that that was a fix..Longer battery life.)

This was posted on Verizons website. Nothing about battery life in this. Again this is from Verizons site

Here are the update details I received from Verizon.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty. We appreciate your business and hope to continue serving your wireless needs for many years to come. My name is Katrina and it will be a pleasure to provide you the changes and corrections were made regarding the software upgrade for the Samsung Rogue (SCH-U960).

You can now update a contact that was saved via a v-card transfer to meet the latest requirements.

Also, the following steps issues has been improved below:

The speaker phone audio volume level was increased.

An extra step was removed for pairing via Bluetooth.

A software change was made to address an issue were the device was not being recognized by the PST tool on certain computers.

Addressed an issue were the device would power cycle when you searched on certain sites in Mobile web like Budget Truck Rental and GM.com.

A software change was made to address an issue were the device was found powered down after charging was completed

A software change was made so that the annunciator bar will update faster when a new mobile e-mail is viewed.

A software change was made when replying to a text message and you repeatedly hit the clear key to back space the remaining text will no longer change to uppercase automatically.

A software change was made to eliminate the UI delay when you select to reply to a MMS message with a SMS message.

Addressed an issue when the phone is in vibrate mode and you are actively in a threaded contact view screen and you receive a message from that contact the device would provided an audible alert.

A software change was made to eliminate a "Unknown Error (60549637)" message that was displayed some times when you opened VZNavigator.

Blech.  Only thing I was really hoping for was a multi-tasking music player.  Bummer.

I am now averaging one day longer on my battery.  The update seems to have changed the phone trying to increase the power to gain a signal.  I am rural.  Anyone else notice this?
