I'm just curious. My only issue about it is that I'd like the ability to turn the qwerty keypad light off whenever in use ... I'm a battery life junkie so I'll do anything I can to save battery power!

-multitask music player
-on screen qwerty
-make the direction arrows more usefull
-customizable menus
-a worthwhile "my pictures" widget
-a more worthwhile "shortcuts" widget
-make the accelerometer function while browsing pictures
-customize the vibrate for txt messages
-customize the alert sound for new messages in threaded message mode (the quiet little "ding" is not enough)
-customize the message key on the "shift" button to take you to inbox

just some stuff i'd like changed

Some of your ideas are quite valid.. would love to be able to create and edit widgets...
but one thing on ur list.. my phone seems to do fine..

-make the accelerometer function while browsing pictures

Mine switches to landscape & back quite nicely while browsing pictures...

Also when you're on your browser and you type "$" anywhere (such as google) and type a letter after it, it gets deleted along with the "$" sign.  so if i type "Fa$t" the $ and the t will get deleted and all you will see is "Fa" ... real annoying

+1 for being able to add more widgets..

lol and a way to access internal memory...

By far, the biggest problem I have is the music player.  You can't even check the time when the player is on.

The other biggie for me is even on the lowest level, with headphones on, the music volume is way to loud.  Might be alright on the plane, but not in the lab.

Another one I would really like to see is downloading email attachments.  I would like to be able to keep a few documents and things like that on my phone for quick reference.

Is there a good place to actually send requests?  Would Samsung or Verizon be a better place?

I sent my suggestions to Samsung and all they said was something like "We cannot say if there is a firmware update coming in the future, but if it does it will be OTA (over the air)." That's all I got after making suggestions ... lol

I want them to make it so I can go through the main menu's UI just with my qwerty keyboard besides via touch. Also while I'm typing a text message I don't want to be alerted of a new one, and even if I'm alerted I want to still be able to continue typing and the popup for my new message will go away.

you can already ignore incoming messages if you do not have auto view messages on. disabled it will give you the option to view or view later and you can go back to typing.

also if you have threaded messaging on and you go into at conversation and replay and it brings up the reply window at the top but you can still see the messages, well if you recieve a message while typing it pops up and then goes away letting you continue to type but also showing the new message just below your reply. it's kinda nice.

More menus customization options instead of that one ugly menu...
The ability to stop a text from sending i.e an accidental send...

+1 for the widgets
+1 on the on screen qwerty
+1 on the -customize the alert sound for new messages in threaded message
+1 on the non multi-tasking media player

How do you turn on threaded messaging?  I am assuming and hoping that you mean threaded text messages. I thought this phone was supposed to do this and I can't figure out where to turn it on.

Sorry if I deviated from the OP.

For Threaded Messaging, which was the default setting on my Rogue right out of the box.....

From the main screen ----> Press Menu
Next --------------------> Press Messaging
Next... Scroll down-------> Press Settings

At the top under Message View, By Contact = Threaded Messages
By Time     = Standard, Inbox, Outbox Messages

Hope this helps
