Samsung needs to come out with an update that allows you to easily and quickly (minimal keystrokes / menus) LOCK THE PHONE, and require a passcode to unlock it.

I've had the Rogue for about 3 weeks now, and will likely return it next week because of this issue. Whenever the phone is in my holster, it gets unlocked just from moving around in the holster or getting bumped. As a result the phone does all sorts of unintended things like turn the ringer off, go into either picture or video mode, take pictures, call people, etc. The phone unlocks way too easy.

There is a more secure lock that does require a passcode, but you have to navigate through a bunch of menus to get to it. (MENU | SETTINGS & TOOLS | PHONE SETTINGS | SECURITY | ENTER CURRENT SECURITY CODE | LOCK PHONE NOW. (ARG!)

And while it does require a passcode to unlock, you can still dial out via the ICE function.

Does anyone know a quick and easy shortcut to putting the phone into this more secure "lock" mode?

Thanks!

Multi-Task music player - a must.
Able to send more that one picture that needs re-sizing to same person.
When I try doing that, it keeps sending the first picture even if you pick different picture.

More application like shutterfly.
Sync with Outlook calendar without paying for it.
More free games - There is not even 1 game on this phone besides dice which is really not a game.

Leagacystar, what format did you use on those videos that you posted?

Oh and rmorar, I had the same problem. When youre sending a picture message it had 2 opposite pointing arrow underneath the contact name window. They tell u wut slide youre on. Just add a picture and when you wanna add another tap the right hand arrow and it will take you to another slide but still be on the same message.

-a slide bar to unlock the phone instead of tapping a button on the screen(seen a lot of complaints about the phone unlocking too easily)
-timer in the widgets
-voice recording in a phone conversation.

In addition to what has already been suggested, I would like:

- Ability to click on links inside of emails.

- Ability to disable picture on caller ID, so I can view entire name from phone book.

- Ability to connect to Outlook OWA server.

I agree... Would love to be able to create, edit and use my own useless Widgets!!!
In all seriousness though,  It would be nice to be able to edit individual widgets...

I agree there needs to be some sort of better option of locking the phone.  I carry mine in a holster and have had it turn the volume either up, down or off just because the lock button got bumped twice.  If they would make it so that the lock button has to be pressed once and then the onscreen button pressed ONLY (meaning that 2 or more presses of the lock button will not unlock the phone) then that would at least help or solve the problem for most.

The only thing I have to add to what has been posted so far is this.  When you have text autoview turned on, and have Settings & Tools/Sound Settings/Alert Sounds/TXT Message/Reminder set for 2 minutes, the reminder will never sound/vibrate if you miss the initial text message.  If you turn off text message autoview, the reminder works like a charm.  I missed several texts because I didn't feel or hear my phone while it was set to autoview and no reminder ever occurred.  When I took my phone out to send a text, I would see the text that I received an hour or two earlier.  I now have to leave autoview off which I'd rather leave set to on.

Just came across something else that needs fixed, or at least I think so.  I was entering a calendar item for the 21st of this month.  While I had that day selected in the 30 day calendar day view, I decided to erase old entries.  I chose "one day" which removes events that are single day.  It erased everything prior to Nov 21, not prior to today's date like I thought it would.  So if you only want to erase old events, make sure you have today's date selected, or everything prior to the highlighted day will be erased.  It's like the calendar app isn't date aware.

Am I the only one who thinks old events should only include any event prior to the day's current date?

My peeve with the Calendar is that it is limited to 100 entries....  Yea, I am that busy sometimes!! LOL
Between Birthdays.. Anniversaries.. Appointments... and ANY thing else I need to be reminded of... 100 entries go fast..........

I would like for the widgets "folder" not to expand when you drag them to your main screen.  Why do they stay opened up?  That's stupid.
