When I woke up this morning, my Rogue had a message on it saying something about an update. I wasn't clear if the update had already happened or not. I hit the okay button, and then it started to charge (the update notification stopped my phone from charging, even though it was plugged in) so I turned it off and unplugged it. After turning it off, it showed me the recharging battery screen that normally shows up when the phone is off and the screen would not go away. I let it sit and it wouldn't turn off, and I held down the power button and nothing happened. My phone actually froze on me while powered off. I disconnected the battery and now it seems to be fine, but I have no idea whether or not I have the new update.

I guess two part question:

1. What does the new update do?

2. How can I tell if I have it or not?

I just got my Rogue and had the very same issue with the charging.  I switched from the LG EnV Touch, which to say the very least, is a total peice of shit.  The EnV Touch would shutdown randomly also; in my pocket, on the dresser, charging, it dosen't matter.

I noticed today when I plugged in my Rogue for the very first time I walked away and came back to check on its status....the screen was blank, and seemed as though it were turned off.  I held the power button down, but nothing happened. I unplugged the charger, and held button down again and it came on, only to reveal after being plugging in over 3 hours it was only "half" charged...WTF??  I have version 4 software on the device...Does anyone know whats going on?
