Well, I don't know if it's related or not but I sent a +160 char text to someone after updating the phone and it went through fine.

Well the e mail beep was not fix. I know how to disable it but with the master volume off it should not beep. So it look like Samsung miss it.

My #1 issue with this phone is its speed. I created a shortcut to my inbox on my home screen, and it literally takes up 3-4 seconds to respond when i hit it. 3-4 seconds! This has discouraged me from texting on several occasions. It should take less than a second (i.e. instantaneous) to open my inbox. Samsung, please focus on improving this phone's speed!

One issue I have had with this update is the fact my battery is completely DRAINED by the end of the day now. It's strange but I was on the phone with a friend for about 3 hours yesterday morning and my battery depleted by 6 PM with only a few text messages... i've talk to her plenty of times before like that and my phone lasted at least until the next day.

I do have to say though, my speakerphone is a lot louder. Even the little bleep you get when you're in a threaded text is louder. Hmm...

Trying to access my eboarding pass (text message link to a web page) after running the update rebooted my phone.  I tried again and it worked.  I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

www.yahoo.com works.

The annoying beep in mobile email is gone.

Anyone have a problem with the phone freezing? Since getting the update last week I have had the phone freeze on me three times. The only way to fix it is to take out the battery which is annoying. Hopefully I am not the only one who this happens to and not something I have to get use to. Also this is the first phone I have had from verizon that freezes on me and I have had touch screen phones before. I was hoping this update would fix the freezing since it has done it before the update as well but it hasnt. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
