Hey all, first post here.  I can't seem to find this info anywhere and I hoped the latest update would fix my issue (it didn't).  The one thing that bugs me about this phone is that the screen dims after just a few seconds.  It's particularly annoying in the Browser mode when you're trying to read something and you keep having to touch the screen for full brightness.  I can't figure out for the life of me how to get around this...any ideas?

I'm thinking change the brightness settings... their is an auto setting in there there that uses the light or darkness to adjust it.

Thanks for trying, but that's not it.  That just allows you to change the maximum brightness rather than the default setting on the phone.  What I'm talking about it like a battery-saver mode.

Did you try changing the backlight timer? if not: menu> settings and tools> display settings> backlight> then click <screen backlight> and select a longer time, im guessing its at 7 seconds now
