Maybe someone would be so nice to post if allowed the U960 DLL (full MSI Installer please).
And maybe also the BINary file.

I "need" it for educational purposes.

DLL is now leaked in public.

Hopefully BIN follows soon.

Did you ever made an Firmwareupdate on an Samsung handset with Samsung PST?
Or any changes on Settings?

Or better... Would you ever make an self update at home?

If yes you need:
Samsung PST---> long time in public
DLL for U960----> now public
BINary... not yet in public BUT exists

The 16 Digit Password is to lower/disable few Security Restrictions...

For instance in QMAT or CDMA Workshop... or other Qualcomm related Tools like QXDM...

In QXDM you could find this Description about Security Password:

Quote
Send the security password to the target. This is the password associated with the A/DMSS security plan, not the service programming code (SPC). If a target has this password set, sending this command with the correct password will unlock secure features (memory peek/poke, port I/O). If the wrong password is sent then the target powers down

Depend on AMSS... SP can you give you more access to filesystem...

BUT I have no idea which features for U960... as I have NO U960 to test.

SCH-U960 SamsungPST DLL(Ver.1.0.010) releasenote Feb 16 2009.xls

Here you can read more... about DLL function.

To explore a little bit. You can use for instance this:
http://www.wilsonc.demon.co.uk/d10resourceeditor.htm

Then you can find Pictures, Menus, etc. in *.DLL...

This is more for advanced user.

Warning! You can "destroy" your U960...

The DLL alone is useless... First you need Samsung PST.
For each model additional DLL file exists.

Example...
Samsung R810 has own DLL file.
Samsung R800 has own DLL
Samsung U960  Grin

Each model can be configured by Samsung PST IF you have the corresponding DLL.

Simplest Feature of Samsung PST is to update Firmware.

For this you need additional Binary file. At the moment NOT in public leaked...

You could use Google for study.

@ drblythe
 Cool
Nice to hear about your success.
