You can use just about ANY .jpg file for a wallpaper on the Rogue.. Easier if you have an SD card.. Pop your SD card into a card reader and drag & drop as many Wallpapers to your phone as you want........

Isn't it .bmp? And if it's not 480x800 exactly, it wont fit on the screen perfectly.
And is the wallpapers tab messed up for anyone else?

I have been having that same problem and I make my own wallpapers, but once I flip open to landscape, my image stays upright and in the center and looks completely stupid...

i thought i was the only one. i was about to head over to verizon and ask for an exchange. I have been trying to find a difference between the original pictures on the rogue and the pictures that are created by a third party. The only thing that I have found is that the wallpapers from a third party (not originally on the rogue) have a resolution of 240x274. But when I tried a wallpaper that size gave me the same result. The wallpaper stays in the middle with black edges on both sides. It doesn't want to stretch completely. So far this is the only minor flaw i see with the rogue (besides the horrible music player that must be changed!!)

I wonder if your Wallpaper problems are an isolated thing?? Several of my friends have bought the Rogue.. We all make and share wallpaper for our phones... Have all sorts of resolutions and color depths.. ALL of the wallpapers rotate properly when going to the landscape mode.. though as mentioned before the only thing is some resolutions look better then others on the landscape mode.. We use FULL SIZE 1600 X 1050 jpegs, with no problems.. the larger ones actually work better and completely fill the screen in landscape mode..

Axis that solved it.. thanks. So to sum it up. If your wallpaper does not stretch completely to the sides when in landscape mode then you need to re-size your wallpaper to a larger resolution. And as Axis mentioned don't expect to have perfect quality when in the landscape mode, especially if you are going from a small size to a larger size.

I actually finally figured out why mine did that - first off the 480x800 and 800x480 are only set sizes for the certain mod i.e portrait and landscape... I use 800x800 .jpg images and they are perfect and quite close to the factory wallpapers... when I had used an 800x800 .png file it messed it all up so just make a wallpaper 800x800 and save it as a .jpg file and you should be good!
