I have transferred an album ripped from a CD to the SD card in my Rogue via VCAST/Rhapsody.  All tracks transferred correctly and are playable.  However, if I play the album from "My Music" on the phone the tracks are not in the correct order, i.e. not the order on the CD.  There does not appear to be any logical order (track #, alphabetical, etc.).  If I take the SD card out of my Rogue and put it into an enV Touch, My Music shows the tracks in the correct order, so the tack data is being transferred.  It appears that the My Music player on the Rogue ignores the track # data when playing individual albums.  Has anyone else experienced this / found a way around it?  Some albums are meant to be played in the order in which the tracks appear.  Transferring albums via Napster has the same result.

Until about a minute ago, I never put a full album/CD on my Rogue.. I just put the CD Dethklok (Usa) - Dethalbum II (2009) on my MicroSD Card and brought the Music Player and its play order was the same as the CD...  So this is my thought on your current problem...

You mentioned that you put your MicroSD card into an Env Touch and its seems fine..

OK my very first though is that when you got your MicroSD Card you never had the phone FORMAT it from scratch...
Each phone has its own way of creating the directories that it needs to function property.
I would put that MicroSD card into a reader and Copy all its contents into a folder on your PC's desktop.. Everything Music.. Pictures.. Videos.. etc etc...

Place the MicroSD card back into your phone and FORMAT it......
Place the card back into the reader on your PC and put your copy your Music back to the (my_music) folder.. don't copy folder and all, we don't want to over write the folders that the phone created...
Do this for your Pictures & Videos.. etc etc...

If you don't have a MicroSD card reader.. all you need to do is plug your phone into the computer with the provided USB cord...
Press the RED end to cancel the music sync.. Tap Menu, Tap Settings & Tools, Tap Tools, Scroll down and Tap USB Mass Storage..
In a few seconds the MicroSD card will appear on your computer as if it were placed into a reader...  Move your files off as described above.. format and copy them back.....

This will make sure that the Rouge has all the folders that its needs to function properly...  It is worth the effort....

Actually, the card was originally formatted with the Rogue.  I half expected the enV to not be able to use it, let alone do a better job with it.  A little more info... 2 albums ripped from CD have tracks in "random" order.  Licensed tracks on albums are in the correct order.

If I open the my_music folder on the SD card via "USB Mode" via Windows Explorer I can see the Track Number data.  Strangely, the ripped albums have all tracks, but the numbering begins with 2.  For example, The Beatles "Love" physically has 26 tracks, but they are numbered 2-27.  Otherwise, the track numbers are in the correct album order.  Licensed albums, Liquid Tension Experiment "Liquid Tension Experiment" and "Liquid Tension Experiment 2" has track numbering that corresponds to the artist, e.g. there are a total of 9 tracks for this artist across the 2 albums and they are numbered 1-9 and are in album order and show up in the correct order in the Rogue.  Maybe the Rogue gets confused if there is no Track 1 for an artist, but the enV just uses the track order?

I am going to try a few more complete CD's.. Rips and Downloaded both...  I know, in my collection of music. I have whole Rips that have NO track numbers at all, just titles...  will let you know my results..

Anyone else here having the same play order problems??  As You know Feedback always welcome....

It appears to be related to gaps in the track numbers.  I took The Beatles - "Love" and corrected Track #'s 2 & 3 --> 1 & 2 which left 1,2,4-27.  Then I took another entire album (Unknown Hinson - "The Future is Unknown") and renumbered all of the Tracks 1-15.  Deleted both albums from the Rogue and re-downloaded.  The Unknown Hinson album is now correctly sequenced on the Rogue while The Beatles album is still "random."  The enV did not seem to care about the actual Track #'s, it just played them in sequential order.
