I think this forum has answered my one question, which is "can the Rogue open doc or txt email attachments?"  Apparently not.  (Someone correct me if I'm wrong - PLEASE).  That's a bummer because it does just about everything else very well and is an excellent "bridge" between a dumb phone and an android or iphone.  If someone knows how to get it to read email attachments, my day would be complete!

i believe it will DISPLAY the documents in google docs (not sure how i got it to work, its been a while, but it DID) but not very well, and what would you really need that for anyway (just curious, bc i would love to be able to edit Excel docs on the phone)

Okay, here's my work-around: I opened another gmail account that I don't access anywhere except from mobile-web.  When I receive an email with doc or pdf attachments in one of the email accounts I monitor on the Rogue, I forward the email to that gmail account.  Then I just punch up the Mobile Web Mail option on the Rogue, punch GMail and it opens my "document" account.  Then, since Rogue CAN read docs & pdf's in the browser, I can open the attachments.  Of course, it's "iffy" because it won't display images within the documents and the format is sometimes awkward to read, and you still cannot open Excel attachments.  If every, or even most, emails I received contained doc attachments this would be far too cumbersome.  But it is a workaround that is okay for now.  At least until I decide to go with Android, Blackberry or iphone (when it comes to Verizon in January).  Of course, then I'll have to upgrade my data plan since Rogue is one of the few that allows less than an unlimited plan.  Right now I'm skating along with voice, texts, emails and web for only $50 a month. Once I go with one of those other phones, then I've got to go unlimited for a minimum of $70 a month.  The price of convenience!
