Hi all! Where do I input the *86p0000 (with the 0000 = your vm code)?  I tried putting it into my VM contacts shortcut but it doesn't work.   The p in *86p is the actually letter "p" right?

I'm new to this site & a phone that has so many options.  Thank you!!!

If you replace the *86 w/ your actual phone number.. Area code included it works better on most phones...

Mine is setup as follows:  315-222-2222p0000#

*Note: The 'p' is a 2 second pause, inserted under the options menu while in the Phone Number Edit mode...

Axis,

Great tip! I am using this as a work-around to a problem I have been having. I can't access the dial pad on the touch screen while in a call. Your tip lets me check my voice mail without having to slide the phone open to enter my password. I still can't do anything else without sliding it open though, like hit 7 to delete the message or any other options. Any suggestions? Please check the thread I started for more info on the issue I am having if you think you can help.

Thanks

I don't understand why you can't access your keypad during a call???
I would take your phone to the nearest Verizon Retail Store (larger the better) for an exchange, i can use my dial pad all i want during a call.....
