So let me start out by saying I have had problems with the touch screen on this phone and the 2 replacements, since the day I bought it.  I took it back to Verizon, got a new one, had the same problems.  Took it back a third time, got a new one same problem. Three phones, same problems, less than a week, lack of help from Verizon, was all I could take so I gave up.  It wasn’t causing me functioning issues, just esthetic. Black lines across the touch screen, the screen “splitting”, etc etc…

My recent, urgent, andhorribly debilitating issue is my touch screen has become completely unresponsive.  The phone powers up like normal and all the buttons continue to work properly.  I still receive calls, texts, and emails and the screen looks fine, but like I said the touch screen is completely unresponsive.  I have to answer the phone by opening it up and pressing the green call button. The only out going phone call I can make is the last person I dialed before the screen became unresponsive, and I can’t read or respond to texts/emails.

I have taken the battery out several times for extended periods of time to try and reset the screen but to no avail.  I haven’t been able to find any other possible fixes.  Help please!!!!

If there isn’t a possibility of getting the screen fixed, how do I go by transferring my contacts, pictures and ringtones to another phone (my husbands old LG enV Touch ::bleh:Smiley?? I do not have a microSD card. Is this something I’m going to have to suck up and shell out the money and go to a Verizon store for them to do or is it possible to do at home??

Thank you so much for any and all help, it is greatly appreciated!!
