First, stupid question, but you're not saving the pictures to an SD card on your phone, are you?

Do you know if your touchscreen still works?  Unlock the phone by pressing any physical button (normally brings up the locked screen) and then pressing the physical lock button on the side of the phone to unlock it, then test it in one of these ways:

If you didn't turn touch sound and vibrate off:
---When you touch the bottom part of the screen where the dialer, contacts, message, and menu icons are, does it make a sound or vibrate?

If you did turn them off:
---Try to call someone using the touchscreen.  Touch the bottom left corner for dialer, then, if you have speed dials, touch the approximate location of the number.  The numbers are from just a few millimeters above halfway up the screen, to 1/4" above the bottom of it.

If the touchscreen works, you can connect the phone to your computer via USB try to activate "usb mass transfer" mode in the Tools menu.  Let me know, and I can post some pictures of where you'll need to press to bring it up.
