Why not use a Bluetooth File Transfer?

It looks like Verizon blocks image/multimedia bluetooth file transfers.

I did some Bluetooth picture transfers a while back. I forget for sure but I think I had to do a push from the phone.

Maybe I'm not tech-savvy enough, but I've tried everything I've read on this forum and nothing seems to be working. I have the SD card and have transferred my media onto it, but when I plug my phone into my laptop, nothing at all happens.

When I press the "USB Mass Storage" button, I get a [ ! ] box that tells me to "Connect Cable to PC". Then I say "Bitch, it is connected, I can see it charging." Nothing shows up as a removable storage device on "My Computer" no matter what order I press the buttons in.

Is there any other information or advice to be given?
