Well... My phone, no matter what ringtone is selected to play for an incoming call, will only ring with the VZW default tone.  It is driving me insane.  Can anyone give any advice.  Its never done this before and i have tried changing the tone a ton of times but no matter what is set the only tone it will play for a call is the VZW one.  I like verizon but not enough to listen to their tone all day long.  ha ha.  Anyone...?

Have you pulled the battery with the power on yet?  If not, try that- just pull out the battery with the power on, wait a few seconds and put it back in and turn it back on.  This is kind of a soft reset.

I just took the battery out and let it sit for a minute.  Turned it back on and it is still the same.  Is there anything else you can think of?

I've never heard of ANY phone being stuck on a certain ring tone.   Huh  I've heard of only having vibrate OR sound, but not your issue.

Make sure you are running the latest software by going to Settings and Tools>Phone Info>SW/HW Version.  It should be -S/W V. u960.CI23.

I can't think of anything else to try.  Hopefully somebody else will chime in with some ideas.
