Is there any other way to upload them besides the online album? Like by the USB?

you can do it by usb, or you can store them on a memory card and put that into the computer, or you can use bluetooth, or you can simply send them as txts to your email address

I can say the the USB drivers should be more of a hassle.  For the Bluetooth ones, all that should be is pairing your phone to your computer correctly, where I've had trouble finding appropriate Bluetooth drivers for my pc for a while.  Then once they like each other, the phone send the list of drivers it can support, and the computer should find them all in the Windows Update repository.  I may have had some trouble, possibly just over a driver or two out of 7ish, like the FTP one, but after a while I tried it again and they all install.
The USB ones are harder to get a hold of.  Charging is one instance that shouldn't require anything, you just send power to it by plugging it in.  But for more tasks, the drivers are sometime paired with Verizon (Or Qualcomm?) application like VZAccess manager that install them upon starting their own setup process.  And there are just the bare drivers that are floating around on this forum and elsewhere.  If I had any problem with the bare drivers, I could say try the one that come with VZAccess manager.  And make sure you have your phone in modem mode for proper communication.
Bluetooth can certainly let you access what you're seeking for, as in My Computer you should be able to open the phone, have access to media stored on it, or go into the External directory to access anything on the card you can add.  Which is another easy way if you can read miniSD cards with your computer, then just in the phone interface you can select your media and copy/move it to your card.
