Wait a minute.  You "know" there is a way because a guy did it with an entirely different phone from another manufacturer?  I don't necessarily think that means it's definitely possible.  Good luck with getting it to work- hope you don't brick your phone in the process.

There is a way to do this, it is similar to the env touch. Their is a thread or two on this forum about this. I've actually done this with couple other people here. I've yet to be billed anything and been using it for few months. But i've been careful on how much it is used. And i have unlimited data package on my phone.

Their have been cases where people get charged for tethering or their service being terminated. I do not know what their plan included but you should take that into consideration and note no one but you is responsible for anything that should happen. Some only used about 1 gig while others used over 5gig.

Also this should not be done by a novice as you can possibly brick your phone if you should screw something up. Its not to hard but it is also easy to make mistakes or the chance of power going off during transfer.

Here are the 2 previous threads Here and Here

The links in those threads that go to mobile-files.com are dead. And their new site has little to no information regarding this and the rogue.

You need samsung pst(not lite), dll, and usb drivers. If interested pm me for those.
