I use the Rogue, and I text a lot.  About every week I have to delete all my texts because storage for texting is full.  I have a 8gb sd card in my phone, which I got mostly for pictures and songs, I thiink I use 500mb with over 200 pictures and lots of songs.  Obviously I have excess storage, is there anyway I can switch over more storage space for texting weather it comes from my sd card or normal phone memory?

Thanks

The maximum number of messages you can have on the phone before deletion is about 500.... combined in & out going...

How do you set texts to auto delete?  It sounds logical, I don't think anybody needs to refer to the 300th text received.  I think this method will work for me, as long as I can configure the setting.

Thanks again

Go to Message, scroll down to settings, the setting will be on this screen I believe.

Just for note, I have mine getting pretty fully with the message first showing up this week, I have about 540, but it says I have 272 and 250 in my Inbox and Sent respectively.  I'm currently looking to back them up because of this.

i wonder why you would need to save your sent/recieved text messages that far back? I really cant see any reason for this and the auto erase reserves the largest history possible w/o inconveniencing the user

As far as storage goes, I've seen the same problem, using a miniSD card, but having plenty of my 512mb phone memory free, and still running low on text message space.

I like to save my conversations between certain ppl like my gf and I. Is there any way to back them up to a pc or something so I can just delete them from the phone?
