Contact list HELP????

I had an env touch and when I wanted to dial a contact, a screen came up that showed alphabetical and I was able to easily click on any name. In my Rogue I have to go to my contacts and let it run..then stop. Is there snywhere on the rogue this can be changed?? Thanks Much Dave Gale

if you touch the letter coming off the left side of the screen and pull it to the center you can scroll by first letter, the contact list is alphabetical by first name, i hope this is what you are looking for if not you will have to explain yourself better.

What I really want is for the contact list to stop while I look around at the contacts. May sound foolish but I wondered if there was a way to pic the letter say "C" and not have the screen roll...Maybe not ..I really appreciate you taking the time to answer..Thank You Dave
