I know this problem has come up a lot, and I'm sure you're tired of answering it by now, so I'll get past all the basics pretty quickly.

I'm trying to transfer all my pictures to my PC. I don't own any blue tooth, so I tried the USB instead. However, it will not install any of the drivers properly, so it will not recognize my phone and allow me to access it.

Unfortunately, all my efforts to install the drivers have failed miserably, from the prompt that Windows 7 gives me after it unsuccessfully tried recognizing my phone, to the drivers located on banner on this forum (which only led me to something I needed to buy). My last attempt was actually the .rar file uploaded by shrpshtr325 in these How To... posts.

Nothing has worked. I'm no technologically illiterate fool either, I know my way around a PC, but nothing, I mean nothing I've tried has worked in my favor.

All I'm trying to do is clear my memory card, so I can take more pictures and I want to store them on my PC. If you have a quick and simple solution for me, I would be eternally grateful. Trying to get this done as soon as possible.

Thank you!

"All I'm trying to do is clear my memory card"

So why not just use a card reader and plug it into your pc to get the photos off the card?

Because the card reader on my laptop never worked in the first place.

So I'm trying to find alternatives, hence the USB.

i always have to turn my phone off and on while it's connected to the usb cable.

have you tried the vcast media manager?

just don't use media manager to upload pics to the phone, it downsizes them.
