The playback video quality on my phone is terrible.  It's plays completely pixilated.  Am I doing something wrong?

Ok, you are more then likely recording in 'send mode' a very low resolution mode designed only for talking quick Videos for sending as Video messages...

For nice high resolution Video...  

Bring up the Video Camcorder Screen... On the left side of the screen, Tap Rec Mode....>Tap For Save..

On the right side of the screen choose 640x480 or 320x240.... 640x480 will give you decent full screen Video............  

Plus you now can record for more then 30 seconds as well....

For an inexpensive phone, the Rogues Video quality is quite decent....
