Rogue: 'Out of Memory' Message When Viewing PDF Files

Hi,

I thought it would be cool to have the Rogue user manual on the phone's memory card as a .pdf file to view any time I had a question about the phone's operation. Because the entire pdf file was very large, I thought I would extract pages section by section to create smaller files. My first attempt was to create a file for the first 16 pages (table of contents and Section 1). Its size is 8.8 MB.

The user manual says that the file being viewed cannot be larger than the available phone memory, and the available memory on my phone is 462 MB, much more than the 8.8 MB size of the pdf file being viewed. Yet, when I try scrolling through the file, I get an "OUT OF MEMORY" message after just a few pages.

Can anyone explain why I cannot view an entire pdf file that is much smaller than the available memory, or tell me what I need to do to remedy the problem?
