Just wondering if there will be any free apps (like the iphone apps) that will be or that are available. I know you can get some from Verizon Get it Now, but for those of us who like "free", is there anything available?

The Site you posted is in Europe... the UK i think... Here in the US, I wouldn't be surprised if our beloved Verizon (our phone service provider) will make apps available only through them. Really hope I am wrong on this one!!

i would love to see free useful apps... such as maybe a todo list..i'm sick of using their crappy notepad. And if they don't want to develop apps atleast let US do it.

As I know you can use BREW Apps. This means Qualcomm stuff: *.MIF *.MOD *.BAR BUT you need valid *. SIGnature file... How is the Flashlite Support on U960? Anyony tried *. swf files? Best Regards

adfree, the .swf exploit that worked on some verizon LG phones, is in theory worth trying on the rogue, but the file that they over-wrote with custom .swf files is in the (for now) locked brew folder on the phone.
I would love any ideas on how to get around it. A future bitpim with support for the rogue should work, but that could be a long way off.

I have only some more deeper infos ( theory) of R810 from Samsung. BUT I have no R810 nor U960 at my own to test... R810 same behavier... hard restrictions/protections... Few are possible to bypass. But they not managed to use Adobes Flash lite files. For Flash you need BREW extension. Also MIF + MOD + SIG... Sometimes it is preinstalled or integrated in Firmware (AMSS). I have no idea why Samsung is much harder on Verizon as LG. Best Regards

So I am looking at the apps market on verizon. And I am sorry to say but it plain sucks. Why are most of the apps subscription apps? For example I found a phaser app for $2.99 a month. Sorry..... but who wants to subscribe to a phaser app for 3 bucks a month? I hope the do something about their app market pretty soon. The rogue is a cool phone and will do much better with some cool apps.

I agree whole heartedly. I'd also argue that the app is retarded - but then - to each their own. Then again I also question some of the apps I downloaded (back up asst, VVM, city ID, VZNav) that come with monthy use costs. Though VZNav is part of the Premium plan I have, and I think VVM is too (but not positive) that leaves the back up asst and city ID as adding a few bucks to my monthly bill. I'm glad that the couple games I downloaded (2x Resident Evil, Assn Creed II, Silent Hill, Prince/Persia) had the option for "unlimited use" - I'd much rather pay one time and then not worry about it.

Though VZNav is part of the Premium plan I have, and I think VVM is too (but not positive) VVM is not part of your Premium plan. http://support.vzw.com/faqs/Calling%20Plans/nationwide_premium_plans.htmlWhat are the Nationwide Premium Plans?
