Facebook photos too small

So when I first got this phone, the facebook pictures were a pretty good size, I could make everything out in a photo.  Hell, any photo I looked at on the net, I say facebook because that's really the only photos I look at on the net here.  After awhile, and it may have been right after an update, the photos got so small and then when I tried to zoom in, they got really pixelated.  Well about a week ago I noticed they were big again!  I rejoiced and I was happy.  Today I realized that my hotmail account worked on my phone, too, but then I as I begin browsing photos on facebook, they were really small again.  I was ever so pissed.  Anyone else have this problem and maybe have any advice?
