ok this might be old news but i found this app on the rogue and it is amazing!

if you go to menu>photos> then at the bottom it has biz card reader.

it great just snap a picture of a buisness card and it saves all the persons contact information off the card.

like i said i just found it and think its cool,  if its old news and everyone knows about it then just ignore! lol

Hmmm I think you might be the first person to bring this feature up.... I personally use that Business Card Reader almost everyday...  it IS quite nice.. The only problem i ever have is when it tries to process the date from a Glossy/Shiny type Card...

What have you experienced with it???

I cannot get the biz card reader to work on any card.  It just keeps coming back with the message, "no info".  What am I doing wrong?

hmmmm not sure???  I use this feature almost daily, do to the nature of he business i am in..  (someone is forever dropping cards in front of me or on our counter)

I find it works best in good lighting (we have fluorescent lighting), but keep the angle so there isn't any glare...

The only type of card that I have poor results with are the Glossy types of card.... Most plain or matte finish cards all work well.....

I have used it at home on occasion, Under regular incandescent light.. same applies, I just have to be aware of lighting angles....

You can get there from the main screen "Contacts" under "options" - two presses instead of five.

I tried mine today .... found it's effectivness is really dependant on the complexity of info on the card  (too many lines and it gets some infor wrong) and the shinyness of the card stock (too shiny and it won't read)
