If you've used a standard cell phone in the past few years, especially for Verizon, then chances are the operating system was based on Qualcomm's Brew format. Now Qualcomm is hoping to improve upon it, with the announcement of their new Brew Mobile Platform open operating system. The Brew MP is a full mobile OS, that delivers features across a wide variety of 3G devices, including low cost smartphones and other data intensive phones, such as AT&T's quick messaging devices. Look for devices from AT&T this year featuring the Brew MP operating system.

 Huh

Sorry.

This is the same BS... B stands for Bull.  Grin

BREW or BREW MP needs MANDATORY valid *sig file to install something on device...  Roll Eyes

Maybe BREW MP is more FLASH lite oriented... but it is NOT open source nor everyone can develop for FREE nor for testing on device...

Please check it out and tell me, if I'm wrong.  Grin

Qualcomm offers since many years BREW SDK and now BREW MP SDK for FREE.
0 Cent...
Around 8 years...  Roll Eyes

BUT you can only use Simulator and play on PC... for real devices you have to pay 400 $ minimum...

Best Regards
