Is anyone else having problems with mobile internet access today?  I called *611 and Verizon support said that it was probably due to a nation-wide data access problem that they are having today... try again later.

Thanks for posting this.  You saved me the call to VZ.  It's been out since 6am EDT.

VZ's data network appears to be back up.  Let's see ~8 hrs. downtime = 1/90th of a month or a 1.1% credit for all VZ customers with a data plan.

I know what your saying Axis but I ran into a mobile web problem with Verizon just last week with another phone thats on my share program. The web would not work for a full 3 days. I got $.99 credit and no joke spent over 2 hours on the phone with tech support to get it fixed. One Call alone was 1 hour 7 minutes and 50 seconds. So if its just down for a bit im not going to go thru a hassle for $.11

Oh...And just so maybe I can save someone the problem I had with the other Phone. If you have parental controls put on it,(You activate and set the controls online) Verizon has a bug in the program with some accounts that if you only put controls on the voice part it will sometimes shut down complete Web and picture texting. So they had to remove parental controls from my account and now I have to keep track and hope he does not abuse it.
