Does anyone else use VCAST Video with his/her Rogue?  I have the Premium plan, so I have VCAST  Video access, but have found that a large % of the time (~75%) I can't even connect to VCAST Video and when I can I often cannot access videos.  I could understand this is rural areas with questionable service, but have the problem even in relatively large metropolitan areas like Memphis, TN.  Is this common regardless of the phone?  Does the Rogue have a harder time than other phones w/ VCAST Video?  I really do not use the VCAST much and don't plan to, but it seems like it should work better than my experience.

I suspected that it may be related to Verizon coverage, but thought that a larger city would have good coverage.  At home, I have to walk around the house to get a spot with 1 bar.

ev = 1 - 2 bars
1x = 1 - 2 bars

I have no problem with Vcast. It will sometimes pause during a vid but i believe its do to my signal. The only complaint i have is the live broadcast's of big ten network football games the quality sucks pretty bad, Although I have not watched for an extended time.

I had 0 bars at the hotel and could get nothing.  I have no problem with phone calls though.  It makes me want to walk across the street to the Verizon store to see if it works better there Smiley  I could at least compare the bars on the demo phone to my phone to see if they are comparable.

At the risk of opening a whole new debate... I tried the *228/Option 2 update just to see if that helped and it did not.

ive had reception issues in places that had 1 bar, like at my job, so it definitely could be that your on the outskirts of reception area. it makes a difference what the buildings you may be in are made of too...

It seems to have something to do with being inside at work and hotel (Atlanta airport too as I recall).  I tested it tonight by trying access in the parking lot and was able to connect and see videos every time.  Went inside... no access.
