touch screen still responsive, but black

so, i dropped my rogue earlier and the touch screen still works but its black. i remembeer that there were numbers on each menu thing, what i need to know is how to delete all my texts. i can get to the "messages" place but i need to know what number to press to delete all messages. i know to go to erase options>erase all but i cant see it.

if you can get it to open the messages menu (messages button from the home screen)

press 0 on the keypad
press 4 on the keypad
and then it requires a touch about the width of my pointer finger above the edge of the screen to finish the process
