Swype on the Rogue?

I was browsing Samsung.com and decided to check out the Rogue page.

Scroll down to the bottom of the features and it says
Fast text messaging with Swype

Swype's patented technology enables users to input words faster and easier than other data input methods. One continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keypad gets the job done, at up to 50 words per minute.

So does that mean that Samsung could be giving us a full virtual QWERTY with Swype? I don't remember seeing this before

So it does, interesting. This may be a 'feature' that Verizon has not released yet, for whatever reason. Excluding the Iphone and Droid, and until recently, phone companies have had complete control over the phones they sold, and this is still one of them.

I recently sent Samsung a couple emails with comments and issues I'd like to see fixed. I also asked if Swype was actually coming for the Rogue, or if this was an error on their site, and they responded, "With regards to the Swype feature of the phone, it is a feature that is still on the works with samsung. Please check with us for future release."

Sounds like it could be promising!
