My phone had 3 maybe 2 bars of battery life so I left my phone off the charger last night. This morning @ work, when I went to switch it to vibrate, I noticed that the phone was off & WONT TURN ON. I plugged it into my USB charger I have here & a min later I saw the Verizon logo then a big "battery charging" icon. Phone will still not turn on. I hope that after sometime on the charger it will eventually turn back on.

Has this happened to anyone else? I have never had a phone do this & I just got my Rogue last week. Just want to make sure it isn't a problem with my phone.

i have never had that happen, try taking the battery out for a few minutes, then put it back in and turn it on, if not then you probably want to get it replaced by verizon

hey im on the same boat as you i just activated my phone yesterday and had it for one full day. the battery was going fine in thoguth and then by the middle of today it went down to two bars after some phone calls texts and browsing on the web. then as i was talking to someone on the phone it just shutt off when it was supposed to have 2 bars left... It's like the battery indicator lags or soemthing barely going down from 4 to 3 to 2 bars then boom its all gone. i hope it doesnt happen again.

the battery meter is a little funky until the battery gets broken in (half a dozen full charge cycles or so), mine got better and better over the first month or so and has been great ever since

the newer batteries are junk... I have my old battery from my first Rogue and once I got my replacement through insurance, they had given me a new battery... the older one lasts so much longer - that and I think the software update added something that kills the battery quicker.

My phone when charging with the phone off will never turn on again without removing the battery. This was my 2nd phone and it was the same on both. I try to keep it charged but this happens every time. I'll bet this would happen to everyone. Turn off your phone plug in the charger for 2 secs then unplug and try to turn it on.

If I don't power up the phone before charging this always happens. I never tried to fully charge the phone when it was dead. Maybe that would work.

Worst battery life of any phone I have owned.  I guess it could last a day without recharging  if you didn't use any internet and kept the screen dark...but then what is the point of this phone?  I bought it for the vivid AMOLED screen and because it had the best internet browser of any dumb phone.  But because of the piss poor battery life, I can't really enjoy these features.   Samsung and/or Verizon needs to address this issue, as it stands it is unacceptable.  The legal phrases of "Implied Warranty of Fitness for a Particular Purpose" and "Implied Warranty of Merchantability" come to mind when I think of the worthless battery provided with this phone.

if it bothers you that much there is an extended life battery for sale online for like $30.00

and you might be doing something wrong bc my battery lasts for 3 days or more with moderate web/txt/call use
