How can I reply to a text...and skip the screen that gives me 4 different choices...and just go right to replying to the text. It's annoying to have to pick text message from the 4 choices.

I know I hate that too...the only way around it that I have found is to keep your text message active on the threaded texting screen...a new text will pop up with a beep and you can just start typing a reply...just go to menu>messaging>settings>message view>by contact, to set this up...also go to menu>settings and tools>phone settings>qwerty action and select txt message, this allows you to start typing a text message when you open the slider, unfortunately you have to select the sendee from yet another menu...

Just like ^^ said. When you get a text, just start typing your reply. No need to hit the reply button unless you want to change msg type to include a photo.

when you have the text open that you have recieved, open the slider and the bottom left button, the little blue thing that says shift under it, hit that and it will open a new text.
