okay so i have a samsung rogue and was happy with it until one day about a month ago. I flipped up the screen to use the qwerty keyboard and it turned off. Now this happens atleast 5 times a day. This also happens sometimes when i close the phone..ANY ONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM?

This is a common problem with the Rogue, which is why it was discontinued. Just take it to your local Verizon store and they will do a warranty exchange.

common??? i havnt heard of anyone else having that problem, (with my luck i usually have EVERY common problem) even i havnt had it

They will exchange it. If it happens again, they will exchange it again. If it happens on the 3rd phone they will replace it with a different phone.
