HIGHLY annoyed at Samsung/Asurion/Verizon...

So, sometime in mid-June I cracked the screen on my Rogue... I had to wait until a few weeks ago to pay the $50 to get a new one through insurance. Now, I know the Rogue has been discontinued BUT when i called the insurance company they tried to tell me they couldn't get it and I was to get the LG Envy Touch or nothing at all. I called Verizon and they told me the only things I could do was take what the insurance company was to offer, buy a certified pre-owned for $169.99 or upgrade my phone (which I was eligible for on the 11th) to the $199.99 phone I will be getting in a few months...

How is this right? It's only been a little while since they discontinued the phone yet, I was never informed by Asurion I could not get MY phone (no email or anything informing us the phone we are paying insurance for will no longer be in stock) and would be stuck with the cheap double I had previously returned FOR the Rogue... so now I am stuck with a broken screen on a Rogue, using a Samsung Gleam and short the money for the Droid. (I was actually going to sell the Rogue on eBay for the money to pay for the Droid).

Needless to say I am pissed and was to the point of cancelling my account with Verizon because they're insurance company sucks!

Anyone else experience this???
